SoCal Athletics Beck is a 14U (2009) team based in Orange County, California with practice fields in Fountain Valley, Huntington Beach and Westminster. The team is a first year 14U team.
Weekly Schedule
Sunday Friendlies
Varying locations
The team participates in three friendlies on most Sundays. Friendlies are used as an opportunity to apply skills learned during weekly practices. We generally bat through the lineup continuously throughout the day to ensure that each player receives an equal number of at-bats and learns the role of each position in the lienup.
MID week fielding clinic & Conditioning
Each player is required to attend a mid week fielding and conditioning clinic.
Saturday Practice
Westminster & Fountain Valley Fields
The team practices once weekly. Practices focus on fielding fundamentals, batting, plate presence, pitching/catching and game strategy.
Monthly Tournaments
Varying locations
The team generally participates in one tournament per month and will compete in all major tournaments in the 2018/2019 season.
